Obituary of Polly Anna Wisner

Polly Anna Wisner, age 71 of Roach, Missouri, departed this life Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at her home in Roach. Polly was born October 25, 1941 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the daughter of John and Lois (Massey) DeGraffenreid. She graduated from Harrisonville High School. Polly retired from the Marine Corp Finance Center in Kansas City in 2002 and moved to Lake of the Ozarks. She loved spending time sitting on the river bank reading her books and watching all the children swim, and watching her hummingbirds. She was a novice photographer, and enjoyed photographing the beauty around her. Polly is preceded in death by her parents; her sister; her three brothers and one step-brother; and her son, James. She is survived by two daughters; Joanna Avants (Glenn Morris) of Missouri, and Julie Wisner (Dave Cuello) of Nevada; her granddaughters, Shayla Avants of Florida, and Amanda Avants, of Wyoming; two nieces, Pat Mills and Betty Keeling; two nephews, John Humphries and Chuck Bailey, all of Texas; and her great-grandchildren, Layne, Camry, Seth and Simon along with many cousins.
