Obituary of Jane Leslie Parker

Jane Leslie Parker, age 66, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Jane was born June 29, 1947 in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of John and Catherine Wright. Jane was later formally adopted by Jack Rice, who Catherine married following John�s passing. Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her love for her family and their love for her were immeasurable. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Bob; son and daughter-in-law Brett and Deborah Parker of Bixby, OK; daughter Shannon Moore of Lake Ozark, MO; sisters Susan Wagner, Jo Russell and Kathy Rice of Jacksonville, Il; brother Tim Rice of Chicago Il; and grandchildren Kennedy, Braden and Autumn and many nieces and nephews. Jane attended school in Jacksonville and graduated from Springfield High School, and then attended 2 years of college at the University of Missouri and graduated from Illinois College. Jane spent her life as a teacher upon graduation and taught for 30 years with her career ending in Tulsa. After teaching, Jane, with husband Bob, moved to Lake Ozark, Missouri where they worked in real estate and enjoyed friends and family at the lake. Jane was deeply loved by all her family and friends and her class, compassion and love of life will be deeply missed.
