Obituary of Mary K. Capps

Mary K. Capps, age 88, departed this life on Monday, July 29, 2013 at her home in Camdenton, Missouri. Mary was born June 9, 1925 in Stockton, Missouri, the daughter of Vernon Cecil and Clara Lillie (Moulder) Sampsel. Mary was united in marriage April 22, 1953, in Camdenton, Missouri, to Marvin Capps. Together they had shared 60 years of marriage at the time of her death. Mary had served her country in the United States Navy. In the early 1950�s, Mary and Marvin moved to the Kansas City area where they worked for nearly twenty years. Later, in 1972, they relocated to Camdenton. Mary loved working, traveling, and shopping. Mary is survived by her husband Marvin; her nieces, Nancy and Kay, and nephews, James, Carl, and George; along with several other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Clara Sampsel, along with her brother and sister.
