Obituary of Bob Nix

Bob Nix, age 76, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, went to heaven on Sunday, August 25, 2013 after a long illness. Bob was born December 9, 1936 in Kennett, Missouri, the son of Enoch and Flora Ridings Nix. Bob was united in marriage in June of 1958 to Joan Stenger and together they shared 55 years of marriage. Bob owned and operated Bob�s Sunglasses on the Strip in Lake Ozark since 1980 and was beloved by many. Bob is survived by his wife Joan; three daughters, Linda (Gene) Barton of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Karen Nix, and Sandra Islam; two grandsons, Jamie and Joel; great-granddaughter Alana; his sister Carol Freeze; and nieces and nephews, all of Rockford, Illinois. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Enoch and Flora Nix; and one brother, Billy Nix, of Eldon, Missouri.
