Obituary of Emma May Martin

Emma Fay Martin, age 60, of Brumley, Missouri, started her journey home to meet her heavenly father, Jehovah, on September 16, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri. Emma was born October 24, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Robert and Irine (Johnson) Burch. Emma was united in marriage to James Franklin Martin on September 25, 1959. Together they had seven children. She was a loving house wife and mother. She moved to the lake area in April 2002 starting in Eldon, Missouri and then to Kaiser, Missouri to end her journey surrounded by her family in Brumley, Missouri. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. Emma devoted her life to her children and family by having big family events and gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Irine Burch, daughter; Jessie Lynn Lee, sisters; Ruby Ambrose, Gail Karmen and Sandra Smith and one brother; Darrell Burch. Emma is survived by, James and Linda Martin of Lamar, Missouri, Robin and Earl Allcorn of West Plains, Missouri, Pamala Martin, of Republic, Missouri, Lisa Jackson, Dwayne and Dawn Martin and Rachel Martin all of Brumley, Missouri, brothers; Robert Burch, Pete Burch, John Burch and wife Betty, sister; Shirley Jones and husband Meril, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered and loved
