Obituary of Kenneth J. Noesges

Kenneth J. Noesges Sr., formerly of Las Cruces, New Mexico and recently Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday, September 23, 2013, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Missouri following a short illness. Kenneth was born April 17, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Mathais Peter and Margaret Catherine (Meyers) Noesges. He married once to Georgianna Korda and was father to five children, grandfather of four and great grandfather of four. During their marriage, they resided in Chicago, Illinois, Stone Park, Illinois and Villa Park, Illinois. Kenneth was a WW II veteran where he served in the Army as a Military Police officer until 1944. Following his military obligations he took up the craft of Clock making and watch repair becoming recognized as a Master of the craft. At one time in his life he owned a business dedicated to the craft in Northlake, Illinois. He continued his passion all the way until the age of 85 years old. Kenneth joined his AA family on October 18, 1964 and celebrated over 48 years of sobriety of which he was very proud. He shared and lended his life experiences to many others to help guide them to a life of sobriety and manageability. Kenneth was preceded in death by both his parents, one brother Thomas Mathais Noesges Sr., and one son; Kenneth J. Noesges Jr. He is survived by two sons, Theodore Noesges, of Chicago, Illinois and William G. Noesges, of Norman, Oklahoma; two daughters, Margaret Baker and husband Terry, of Mundelien, Illinois, and Mary T. Pease, of Eldon, Missouri; grandchildren, Lee A. Zemke, Lisa Watkins, Edward J. Pease Jr. and wife Lisa, and Cynthia Grace Pease, his great grandchildren, Alex Watkins, Edward J. Pease III, Logan C. Pease and Alexandra R. Pease; sisters; Margaret (Carlson), Janet (Roach), and Pat (Brooks); several nieces and nephews.
