Obituary of Robert Leo Hendrix

Robert Leo Hendrix, age 67, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at his home. Bob was born April 18, 1946, in Rolla, Missouri to Ernest P. and Mattie Shockley Hendrix. He married his high school sweetheart Connie on August 14, 1965. He moved his family to the Lake of the Ozarks in January 1972, assisting in the creation of Modern Sanitation in Osage Beach. Bob is survived by his wife Connie; daughters Terri, Traci and Sarah, grandchildren Wyatt, Brady, Lucian, Artemisia, Ethan and Kyle; sisters Mary, Florence, Barbara and Dorothy; brothers George and Charlie; brother in law Bobby Hargis; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bob left behind innumerable friends, acquaintances and colleagues that have all been left better by his kindness, his humor, his wisdom, and his unfailingly good heart. We will miss his unique wit, his seasoned advice, and of course, his impassioned cooking. His work ethic, loyalty and dedication to his family, perpetual humor and steadfast beliefs are his legacy. A Memorial Potluck dinner and Celebration of Bob�s Life will be held at the Osage Beach Lion�s Club, located at 5848 Lion�s Road, Osage Beach, Missouri, on Saturday, November 2 at 4 pm.
