Obituary of lma Joann Gan

Alma Joann Gan, age 78, of Eldon, Missouri, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her residence in Eldon. Alma was born October 5, 1935 in Yanton, South Dakota the daughter of Nels and Alice (Riesner) Jensen. Alma was united in marriage to Lawrence Gan in 1965 in Sparks, Nevada. Alma is survived by her daughters Dawn and her husband James of Richland, Missouri, Ida Berry of Dubuque, Iowa and June Taylor and her husband Randy of Eldon, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends. Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; her parents; daughter Anne Tipton; son Nels Tipton; two sisters Bonnie Jensen and Wilma Furnace; two brothers Ted Jensen and Glen Jensen. The family would like to give a Special Thank-you to Michell Smith, Shirley Lingelbach and Tom Ford of Regional Hospice for their help during this hard time.
