Obituary of Kenneth W. Whitworth

Kenneth W. �Kenny� Whitworth, age 60, of Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life Monday, December 16, 2013 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri, Kenny was born October 16, 1953 in Lebanon, Missouri, the son of Roy and Hazel Whitworth. He was united in marriage on April 16, 1977 in Osage Beach, Missouri to Barbara Sorensen, and together they had shared 36 years of marriage until his death. Kenny enjoyed life working on his farm and taking care of his cattle. He also enjoyed sports of all kinds. More than anything, Kenny loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Kenny had served as a former member of the Macks Creek School Board. Kenny was a loving husband and a devoted father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Kenny is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; six sons, Derak Whitworth and wife, Jessica, Kelan Whitworth, Corey Whitworth, Dakota Whitworth Colten Whitworth, and Dylan Whitworth, all of Macks Creek, Missouri; one brother, Eddie Whitworth and wife, Arlene, of Camdenton, Missouri; two sisters, Karen Dobbins and husband, Dick, of Laurie, Missouri and Lisa Van Hook, of Camdenton, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Zane Whitworth, Mason Whitworth, Chase Whitworth, Ava Whitworth, Devoniah Bradley, Erin Lowery, and Korynn Whitworth; along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Hazel Whitworth; and one daughter, Krisi Sue Whitworth.
