Obituary of Julie H. Short

Julie H. Short, age 68, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Missouri. Julie was born July 8, 1945 in Keosauqua, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Katherine E. (Workman) Catcott. Julie was united in marriage on March 28, 1987 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada to John Short and together they shared 26 years of marriage until her death. Julie had worked in the banking industry until her retirement in 1999. After retirement, she moved to Lake of the Ozarks. She enjoyed spending time on the lake boating, sun bathing and all water sports. She an avid reader and was a member of a book club in Osage Beach. Julie is survived by her husband, John, of the home; one daughter , Shannon Hunsaker of Charleston, South Carolina; one step daughter, Michelle Gautier and husband, Bryan, of Indianapolis, Indiana; two step grandchildren; one brother, Fred Catcott of Osage Beach, Missouri; her nephew Paul Catcott and wife, Rachel, of Orlando, Florida; great nephew, Braeden Catcott of Orlando, Florida; her Aunt JoAnn Workman of Houston, Texas; her cousin, Sue Easton and husband, Gary, of Houston Texas and many friends. Julie was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Katherine Catcott; and one son, Dalton Hunsaker. Additional services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Pedrick, HC and Son Funeral Home in Keosauqua, Iowa
