Obituary of Thelma Ann Leap

Thelma Ann (Eidson) Leap, age 81, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Thelma was born July 14, 1932 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the daughter of Fred and May (Coffey) Eidson. Thelma was saved at an early age and baptized at Parrack Grove Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on July 10, 1949 in Eldridge, Missouri to Donald Leap and together they shared 64 years of marriage until her death. Thelma is survived by her loving husband, Donald Leap of Camdenton, Missouri; five children, Pam Scott and husband, Johnny, of Dadeville, Missouri, Kathy Saunders and husband, Mitch, of Nixa, Missouri, Dennis Leap of Camdenton, Missouri, Jennifer Rogers of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Diane Walston of Camdenton, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and May Eidson; her brother Raymond Eidson; her sisters, Ferba Eidson and Velma Seaton; her grandchildren, Melissa Leap, Brian Scott, Andy Reynolds and Jason Rogers; and her daughter-in-law Karen Leap. Thelma was a member of Parrack Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Branch Homemakers Club. She enjoyed making quilts and spending time with her family. She was Grandma to everyone who knew her.
