Obituary of James Eidson

James (Jim) Eidson, age 85, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his son�s home in Camdenton, Missouri. He was born on July 1, 1928, in Macks Creek, Missouri, a son of Fred Eidson and Millie May (Coffey) Eidson. He was united in marriage to Mildred L Cumper on April 22, 1950, and three children were born to this union. Jim served his country proudly in the United States Army. He loved to visit with friends and family, fly fish, deer hunt, and watch and listen to music. Jim was an avid Camdenton Laker Fan where you could always find him sitting in the same spot for all the games. He loved to pull jokes and tell jokes, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, and family. Jim is survived by his son Randy and his wife, Terri, of Camdenton, Missouri; two daughters, Cindi Bramlage and her husband, Randy, of Wakarusa, Kansas and Melanie Powers and her husband, Tom, of Camdenton, Missouri; grandchildren, Shawn McDonnell and Ashley Mattli and Michael McDonnell and wife, Abby, Kristen Kendrick and husband, Isaac, Daniel Eidson and fiance Megan Stump, Louis, Wiley and Nora Powers, David and Tiffanie Sheets; great-grandchildren, Keilan Howard and Isaiah Kendrick; one brother, Bobby Eidson of Macks Creek, Missouri, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Mildred on March 14, 2011; his parents Fred and Millie May Eidson; his brother, Raymond Eidson; and sisters, Ferba Eidson, Velma Seaton and Thelma Leap.
