Obituary of Mazie Thompson

Mazie Thompson age 92, of Osage Beach, Missouri, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at her home in Osage Beach. Mazie was born January 12, 1922 in St Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Salvatore (Sam) and Clara (Catanzaro) Prainito. Mazie was united in marriage on December 27, 1942 to Carl L Thompson who preceded her in death. During Carl and Mazie�s marriage they traveled the world as a military family. They lived in Asia, Europe and several locations in Texas. Upon retirement in 1974 they moved to Osage Beach to live out their lives. Mazie was proud her dreams of traveling the world were fulfilled �after Carl took her away from Hogan Street in St. Louis.� Mazie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a brother Mazie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Davis of San Antonio, Texas, Christine Sanders of Whitney, Texas and Victoria Ely of Osage Beach, Missouri; her sister, Frances Reidel of St Louis, Missouri and her brother Anthony Prainito of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren along with numerous other relatives and friends. Mazie will be loved always and missed dearly by her family and friends.
