Obituary of Alice Gaye Allen

Alice Gaye Allen, age 68, of Gravois Mills, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Osage Beach, Missouri. Alice was born April 28, 1945 in St Louis, Missouri to James and Nina Mellon. Alice moved to Chicago, Illinois as a young child. Alice married David Allen on October 25, 1969. When they retired, they moved to Gravois Mills, Missouri. Alice is survived by her husband David of 43 years, and her five children, Melody Vivado of South Bend, Indiana, John Allen of Chicago, Illinois, Anthony Allen of Chicago, Illinois, Kevrenna McDonough of Big Pine Key, Florida, and Candace Munsee of Camdenton, Missouri; a wonderful son-in-law Richard Munsee; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; her two brothers, James Mellon and Kevin Mellon; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends whom she treated as family. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nina Mellon. Private Family Services will be held.
