Obituary of Louise Elizabeth Scott

Louise Elizabeth Scott passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 87. She was the daughter of Jeptha Elisha and Leota Beatrice (Spere) Martin. Louise was united in marriage to Roy Clarence Scott on April 22, 1944 and had shared 69 years together. Louise was born and raised in Camden County. She was saved during a revival at Parrack Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Bolivar, where they attended until the day of Roy�s stroke. Louise was a loving wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and Great Great Grandmother. She loved to sew, crochet and cook for her family and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy; her son Charles; her grandson Brent Leap; her brothers Jack Earl, Lillard, and George; her sisters Ethel, Marie, Annie, Mary Ellen and two sisters that died as infants. Louise is survived by two daughters Judy Leap and husband, Paul, of Macks Creek, Missouri; and Violet Howard and husband, Garry, of Preston, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stephen, Sherri, Ryan, Amy and Brandon; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lula Calvert of Camdenton, Missouri; along with several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
