Obituary of Jan L. Simon

Jan L. Simon, age 59, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Jan was born April 29, 1954 in Greensboro, North Carolina, the daughter of Don and Helen (DeJarnette) Lewis. Jan was united in marriage August 19, 1982 in Miami, Oklahoma to Jerry Simon, and together they shared 31 years of marriage until her death. Jan was a loving and devoted wife and helpmate to her husband Jerry. She enjoyed her role as homemaker, and was a loving, devoted mother who created many beautiful memories for her family and friends. Jan is survived by her husband Jerry Simon of the home; one daughter, Lindsey Simon, of Camdenton, Missouri; and one son, Don Simon, of Camdenton, Missouri, along with several other relatives and friends. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Helen Lewis; and one brother; Don Lewis.
