Obituary of Earnest Edwin Kinney

Earnest Edwin �Ernie� Kinney, age 71, of Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Lake Regional Health System, in Osage Beach, Missouri. Ernie was born July 27, 1942, in Branch, Missouri, the son of Joseph and Ruby (Palmer) Kinney. Ernie was united in marriage to Janice Willis, on May 22, 1965 in Branch, Missouri, and together they shared 48 years of marriage until his death. Ernie was a life-long farmer. In his spare time he loved fishing, (24 hours a day if he could) hunting deer, turkey and coon, and cutting logs on his property. He got a kick out of yelling out to his granddaughter Kelsi, saying �give me $5.00.� Ernie loved his family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them. Ernie is survived by his wife Janice; two sons, Christopher and wife, Stacy, of Branch, Missouri, and Kenton of Branch, Missouri; two grandchildren, Brodi and Kelsi; one brother, Don and his wife, Shelia, of Macks Creek, Missouri; along with many other friends and relatives. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ruby Kinney; and sister-in-law, Norma.
