Obituary of Barbara A. Laughlin

Barbara A. Laughlin 79, died April 27, 2014 in Camdenton, Missouri. She was born in Plano, Illinois on August 7, 1934. Barbara spent most of her life in Plano, Illinois, but moved to Missouri in 1986. In 1996 she fulfilled her dream when she opened her own restaurant, Barb�s Wee Chef in Camdenton which she operated for 13 years with her two sons, Todd Laughlin & Ed Martinez and her two grandchildren, Jennifer Conaway & Alesia Flory. She enjoyed her family, friends, and pets. In her earlier years she was an avid equestrian. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Sandy) Laughlin, Edward Martinez, Roger (Kathy) Martinez and Todd Laughlin; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters Mary Martin and Janice (Ray) Schomas; and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, David and Genevieve Milligan; husbands, Edward Martinez in 1954 and Perry M. Laughlin in 1974; brothers Dale Coppes, Lester Coppes and Gerald Milligan. In accordance with Barbara's wishes, there will be no memorial service. The family met privately in Missouri and she will be laid to rest in Plano Illinois.
