Obituary of Verna Luella Kaltenbronn

Verna Luella Kaltenbronn, 85, of Four Seasons, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home, April 28, 2014. She was born January 28, 1929, a daughter of the late Arthur and Irena Krausz. She was united in marriage on February 11, 1950, to Gene Kaltenbronn who survives of the home. Verna graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Physical Education, and she taught for many years in the Parkway School District in St. Louis County. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, a wonderful cook, an excellent hostess and a generous friend. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Pam Paulson and husband, Gregory, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Jann Bernardi and husband, Michael, of Huntington Beach, California; Thomas Kaltenbronn and wife, Kyra, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; Jon Kaltenbronn and wife, Sallianne, of Eldon, Missouri; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Krausz.
