Obituary of Harriet Moske

Harriet Moske, age 78, of Osage Beach, Missouri departed this life Monday, April 28, 2014 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. Harriet was born October 26, 1935 in Milford, KS. She was the daughter of Hubert and Eva Marts. She grew up on a farm in Milford along with her two brothers, Hubert and David, and was a �Kansas farm girl� all of her life. Harriet was preceded in death by both of her parents and her two brothers. Harriet was married to Dan Moske and after traveling to many cities with the U.S. Air Force, they landed in Junction City for the majority of their married lives where they raised their two children, Mark and Sherry. Mark and Sharon Moske reside in Junction City and have several children. Grandson Jason Moske and his wife Darcie of Frontenac, Ks; Granddaughter Brandy Moske Vargas and her husband Ben of Overland Park, Ks; Granddaughter Stacy Sterling of Junction City, Ks; Grandson Jeremy Birdwell of Arkansas City, Ks; Grandson Tim Birdwell of Kansas City, MO; and several great grandchildren. Sherry and her husband, Bruce Jackson, live at the Lake of the Ozarks. Their two children Tyler and Kelsey Jackson also live at the lake. Harriet also leaves behind cousins, nieces and nephews, including Mike and Jimmy Marts of Junction City. Harriet enjoyed attending Sunday School, driving on back roads just to see where they went, and making friends. Everybody loved her smile and her can-do attitude.
