Obituary of Edna Pearl Andrews

Edna Pearl Andrews, age 89, surrounded by loving family passed on from this material world to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Born January 6, 1925 to Floyd and Lola Eidson Crane, she was the oldest of three girls. She was a lifetime member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. In 1940 she married the love of her life Elbert J �Andy� Andrews, to this union two children were born, Stanley J Andrews and Carla J Coldwell. The family moved from Hickory County to the Greater Kansas City area, then settled in Independence, Missouri, where Pearl chose a career as a grocery checker, becoming a member of the Retail Grocers Union, a position she worked at until her retirement. Very dedicated to her family, she was the loving grandmother to four girls; Adele Duncan, Cara Davenport, Tiffanie Leehy and Christy Sewing. She was also very fond of her six great - grandchildren: Samantha, Madeline, Coleton, Seth, Mason and Abigayle. Along with her nieces and nephews, her entire family will miss her deeply. Edna was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Lola, her husband �Andy�, and sisters Merle Reeves and Erma Dee Huber.
