Obituary of Paul R. Swercinski

Paul R. Swercinski, age 85, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Paul was born June 12, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Leo and Bertha Swercinski. He was united in marriage June 2, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Mary Ann DeCavele and together they shared 64 years of marriage until his death. Paul worked for Super Value in Kansas City as a warehouse supervisor, retiring after 31 years of employment. After retiring to the lake area, Paul became a member and avid golfer of Lake Valley Country Club and Golf Course. He enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and just �piddling around�. Paul loved sports of all kinds, and he was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed living life to the fullest. He was a member of St. Anthony�s Catholic Church in Camdenton and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann; one son, Mike Swercinski of Camdenton, Missouri; five granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren; along with many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Bertha Swercinski; one son, Robert Swercinski; and one brother, Joe Swercinski.
