Obituary of Pamela Kay Phillips
Pamela Kay Phillips, age 57, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life Monday, May 26, 2014 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Pamela was born November 21, 1956 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, the daughter of Rev. Warren Dale and Mary Evelyn (Morris) Keeney.
Pamela was saved and baptized at a very young age. She was united in marriage June 26, 1982 to Donald Nelson Phillips. Pamela�s father, Rev. Warren Dale Keeney performed their marriage ceremony.
Pamela graduated from Camdenton High School in 1977. She worked at several jobs throughout the years including the Night Hawk, Crystal�s Bakery, Mr. A�s, and Tom�s Dinner and Pancake House. She had also been involved with sign language at Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Pamela enjoyed cooking and baking, and made the best homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. Among her many activities, she called BINGO and made crochet hats and scarves for cancer patients.
Pamela was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Pamela is survived by her children; Jimmy Phillips of Linn Creek, Missouri and daughter Wendy Hobbs and husband, Mike, of Macks Creek, Missouri; two grandchildren, Quentin and Ethan Hobbs; her mother, Mary Evelyn Keeney, of Linn Creek, Missouri; three brothers, Glen Keeney and wife, Becky, of Montreal, Missouri, James Keeney of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Gearl Keeney and fianc�, Tiffany Burke of Osage Beach, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Warren D. Keeney.
