Obituary of William J. Atkisson

William Joseph (Billy) Atkisson, age 35, of Eldon, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Lake Ozark, Missouri. Billy was born October 5, 1978 in Tuscumbia, Missouri, the son of Thomas Atkisson and Ruth Ann McDowell Atkisson. He was united in marriage October 19, 2008 in Lake Ozark, Missouri, to Sara Noyer. Billy worked for Professional Services, a property management firm. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping and floating. More than anything, Billy loved his family and enjoyed playing with his children. Billy is survived by his wife Sara; two sons, Gage Atkisson and Tanner Atkisson; one daughter Sienna Atkisson, all of Eldon, Missouri; his brother, Chris Atkisson of Kaiser, Missouri; step-brothers, Thomas Atkisson of Osage Beach, Missouri, Trenton Atkisson of Osage Beach, Missouri and Spencer Zeller of Kaiser, Missouri; step-sister Sara Convoy of Camdenton, Missouri; his father Thomas Atkisson of Linn Creek, Missouri; his mother Ruth Ann Zeller of Kaiser, Missouri; paternal grandparents James F. and Jerry Lynn Atkisson of Osage Beach, Missouri; paternal grandmother Betty L. Varner of Eldon, Missouri; maternal grandmother Dollie McDowell of Kaiser, Missouri; along with several other relatives and friends.
