Obituary of Joan Aline Younberg

Joan Aline Youngberg, age 85, of Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Christian Health Rehabilitation Center in Hermitage, Missouri. Joan was born January 12, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Calvin and Ruby (Field) Osenbaugh. Joan lived her early years in the Chicago area. In 1977 she moved to Tunas, Missouri to a small farm and later purchased an 80 acre farm in Macks Creek Missouri which she dearly loved, and where she raised, trained and rode horses. Joan lived by herself until she was 84 years old. She worked at Marriotts Tan-Tar-A as a banquet waitress and at Bonnies Caf� in Macks Creek. She loved to paint, garden, take long horseback rides, line dancing and music. Joan is survived by six of her seven children; daughter, Linda Allen and husband, Lonny, of Osage Beach, Missouri, daughter, Donna Poch and husband, Ed, of Shorewood, Illinois, daughter Diane Strack of Wilmington, Illinois, daughter Jeannie Vogel of Sedalia, Missouri; son Larry Youngberg and wife, Karen, of Minooka, Illinois, and son Danny Youngberg and his girl friend Tammy Frye of Hermitage, Missouri. Joan has twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jeffrey Youngberg.
