Obituary of Dave Orlandini

David (Dave) William Orlandini, age 68, of Montreal, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 surrounded by his family at his home. Dave was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 10, 1946, the son of Cecil and Alfa (Carmingnani) Orlandini. Dave attended St. Philip Basilica High School in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in 1965. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran. Upon returning from the war, he worked for Pitney Bowes in Chicago, Illinois as a field service manager for 32 years until his retirement in 2001. Dave spent his life post-retirement enjoying the things he loved the most; fishing with friends, and his children and grandchildren. Dave had a creative spirit and passed down his appreciation for the arts to his children and grandchildren. He loved sharing good food and music with family and friends, especially at Willowe�s Bar and Grille in Linn Creek, Missouri, where he would spend much of his time watching his beloved Chicago Cubs. Dave is survived by his children Kelly Martin and her husband Glenn, of Fort Worth, Texas; their children, Amy, Zack, Paige, and Austin; David L. Orlandini and his wife Katie, of Maryville, Tennessee; their children, Zack, Alexandra (Alex), and Ethan (Vinny); and Lena Krier of Cordova, Illinois and her husband Brian; their children, Abram and Jude; one brother Carl Orlandini (Diane) and one sister Judy Duran (Rich); along with many nieces and nephews and close friends. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Alfa Orlandini.
