Obituary of Rosalee Ann Warner

Rosalee (Lee) Ann Warner, age 83, of Lake Ozark, Missouri departed this life, Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Lake Ozark. Lee was born July 23, 1931 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Maon Daniel Funk and Mary Ann Funk. Lee spent her childhood in Topeka, Kansas. She was united in marriage October 24, 1952 to Leonard Charles (Bud) Warner. They were married for 62 years. They moved to Davenport, Iowa in 1955 and retired to Lake Ozark, Missouri in 1995. Lee worked outside the home through the years, and was a wonderful mother, wife and homemaker. She loved to sew, read, garden and spend time outdoors. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for all of those who knew her. Lee was preceded in death by her father and mother; Maon Daniel and Mary Ann Funk; one brother, John Funk, and two sisters, Norma Funk and Marion Basham. Lee is survived by her husband; Bud; one brother, Forrest Funk, Lincoln, CA; her daughters Cheryl Lynn Warner; Gold Hill, Colorado and Kimberly Ann Kent and son-in-law Bernie Lee Kent, Davenport, Iowa; her sons, Charles Lee Warner and daughter-in-law Karen Therese Warner, Viola, Illinois and Craig Daniel Warner, New Winsor, Illinois; her grandchildren Emily Lynn Warner, Clayton Dean Leonard Warner, Colton Lee Warner , Abbey Lynn Warner, Chelsey Anne Zeltner and Jacob Lee Kent; and great grandchildren Drew Francis West and Kaitlyn Ann Zeltner. Graveside Service and Interment will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairmont Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa. A luncheon will follow after services.
