Obituary of Betty D. Rassenfoss

Betty D. Rassenfoss, age 78, of Lake Ozark, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. Betty was born December 24, 1935 in Ligon, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas M. and Delphia Langley. Betty was united in marriage on October 8, 1955 to Edward Rassenfoss in Washington D.C. while Edward was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage until her death. Betty worked as a physical plant manager for St.Louis Community College for 18 years. After retiring in 1994, they moved to Lake of the Ozarks where she enjoyed all the beauty of the lake. Her family was always a priority and she loved spending time with her grandkids. She worked part time for School of the Osage and participated in numerous church activities. She was passionate about helping with the Lady�s Auxillary at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and made many close friends during those years. Betty is survived by her loving husband Edward and children Catherine(Rassenfoss) Johns and husband Terry of Wildwood, Missouri; Edward Rassenfoss and wife Kimberly of Osage Beach, Missouri; brother Thomas Langley and wife Patty of Hilliard, Ohio; four grandchildren, Terry, Erin, Trey and Taylor; six great-grandchildren, a niece and two nephews, along with many friends.
