Obituary of Martha McDougall Hodge

Martha McDougall Hodge, age 79, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Martha was born November 29, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Benjamin and Martha (Hesse) McDougall. Martha was employed by Southwestern Bell Company for 20 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Osage Beach, a member of Osage Beach Book Club, and a member of the LLAMAS Club. In her spare time, Martha enjoyed doing crafts of various kinds. More than anything, Martha loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Martha was a loving and devoted wife and helpmate to her husband, and a caring mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Martha is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Hodge; one son Mark Hodge and wife, Amy, of Fenton, Missouri; one step-son Mark Fane and wife, Michelle, of Chino Hills, California; two step-daughters Lisa Fane and her spouse Maggie of Brooklyn, New York and Linda Fane of Seattle, Washington; one brother Ben McDougall and wife, Marilyn of Town & Country, Missouri; one sister Susan Ritland and husband, John, of Kirkwood, Missouri; three grandchildren, Logan, Benjamin, and Tyler; along with several other relatives and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Martha McDougall.
