Obituary of Wally Dale Walters

Wally Dale Walters, age 64, of Camdenton, Missouri went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born February 10, 1950 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Orville R. Walters and Catherine M. Skinner. Wally worked for Phillips McElyea Carpenter & Welch Law Office, and had his own landscaping business. Wally was blessed with incredible musical talent and played drums and sang in numerous bands that toured the United States and Canada. He had artistic abilities with amazing attention to detail. Music and art were his lifelong passions and he used them to share the Word of God. Wally was a very giving person with an infectious smile and laugh. His cheerful personality moved people deeply. Wally knew no strangers. He cared for everyone like family. Wally is survived by his wife of 23 years, Pamela Walters of Camdenton; son Alex Walters and wife, Kyla, of Owensville; daughters, Heidi Vanvactor and husband, Alex, of Mexico, and Amber Weber and husband, Matt, of Union; grandsons, Dallas Kampfe, Aidan Walters, and Andrew Vanvactor; granddaughters, Kristen Kampfe, Isabella Weber, Grace Weber and Adelyn Walters; brothers, Robert, Edward, Gary, Michael, and Matthew Walters; sister, Gladys Trask; several nephews and nieces, and great-grandfather to be. Wally fought the good fight, he kept the faith, he won the race!
