Obituary of Doris Jeanette Day

Doris Jeanette Day, age 77 of Camdenton, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Osage Beach Health Care and Rehabiltation Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Jeanette was born on March 23, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Harvey and Annie (Owens) Kilgor. She was united in marriage to Dudley Day on September 6, 1953. They shared 61 years of marriage and had three children. She was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jeanette is survived by her always devoted husband of 61 years Dudley of the home. Three children Karen Kahrs, Peggy Trinkle and her husband Greg, and Chris Day and his wife Julie. Six grandchildren Brady and Addisyn Day, Andrea (Kahrs) Weiss and her husband Chris, Dustin Trinkle and his wife Lindsay, Joshua Trinkle and his wife Meranda, and Kellianne (Trinkle) Redus and her husband Darrell. Four great-grandchildren Emma Weiss, Luke Trinkle, Isabella Trinkle and Cameron Redus. Two sisters Violet Paxton of Oregon, Missouri and Marie Northern of Kansas City, Kansas. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Annie Kilgor, one brother William Francis Kilgor, and one son-in-law John Kahrs. Jeanette was a devoted, amazing, caring and loving individual who was there for anyone in need. She loved the game of golf and played avidly by Dudley�s side. She loved spending time with her family and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers the family wish is for donations to be made to the Osage Beach Health Care Christmas for Residents in Jeanette and Dudley�s name. This was Jeanette�s favorite time of the year. She always tried to make it bigger and better for everyone.
