Obituary of Dianne J. Jones

Dianne Jean (VonSande) Jones was born April 25, 1946 in Blue Island, Illinois, the daughter of Larry and Ethel Zawodniak. She left this world peacefully, with her three daughters by her side, on December 12, 2014, in her home in Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of 68. In 1967, Dianne was united in marriage to Herman Lawrence VonSande. They were married 25 years. In 1972, they moved to Roach, Missouri where they built a farm and raised their five children. In 1988, she left the farm and continued her private housekeeping business. Dianne was a Nascar enthusiast and liked traveling to the races. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and rarely turned down a chance to go to the casino or out dancing. She always looked forward to camping trips with her children and grandchildren. Her other hobbies included taking care of her yard and flower gardens, feeding and watching the birds, crocheting and making latch hook rugs. She loved her trips to the ocean with family, sitting for hours watching the dolphins. Her love for them could be seen in her large collection of dolphins. Her greatest passions were her children and especially her grandchildren, always enjoying any time spent with them. Dianne is survived by her sister, Linda Ripley of Washington, one brother, Al Zawodniak of Illinois, her Aunt Arlene Gabriel of Nevada, three daughters Tammi Owens and husband Robert of Macks Creek, Missouri, Sherri VonSande and Eddie Klingensmith of Macks Creek, Missouri, Angi Klug and husband Bobby of Montreal, Missouri, two sons, Lawrence VonSande and wife Stephanie of Roach, Missouri, Armond VonSande and wife Jodie of Osage Beach, nine grandchildren, Shane Green, Chris Cady, Bryttanee Owens, Natasha Ressler, Robert Klug, Collette and Cayden VonSande, Trinity and Brecken VonSande, and one great-grandchild, Michael Green. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and infant grandson, Baby Christopher Andrew Foust Cady. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
