Obituary of Delphine C. Schommer

Delphine Catherine Schommer, age 84, passed on to the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ peacefully on December 10, 2014, in Tunas, Missouri. Delphine was born in Stockbridge, Wisconsin in 1930. Delphine lived on her parent�s farm in Stockbridge, Wisconsin until they retired. She later lived with the Robert and Delores Goeser family in Brothertown, WI. She most recently lived in Missouri. Delphine was an avid gardener and loved being outside. She had a love for her farm animals that were her companions, with her chickens being her favorite. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting and making quilts and rugs. Delphine spent many enjoyable hours babysitting her nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Delphine was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Philomena Schommer and two sisters, Rosy Schommer, and Delores (Schommer) Goeser and one brother, Francis Schommer. She is survived by one sister Catherine(Schommer) Nadler of Chilton, Wi.; three brothers Marvin Schommer of Stockbridge, WI., David Schommer of Shawno, WI., and Donny Schommer of Sheyboygan, WI. Delphine is also survived by nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
