Obituary of Dorothy M. Fiatte

Dorothy M. Fiatte, age 85, of Crocker, Missouri, departed this life Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. Dorothy was born December 2, 1929 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob Berry and Louise (Mayes) Berry. She was united in marriage to James Fiatte November 26, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. They shared 67 years of marriage together. Dorothy was a loving wife and mother and a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother several times over. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family. Dorothy is survived by her husband, James; three sons, Frank Dwayne Fiatte and wife, Denise, of Crocker, Missouri, William Bruce Fiatte and wife, Donna, of Gardner, Kansas, and Robert Merle Fiatte of Crocker, Missouri; four daughters, Vicki Chance and husband, Charlie, of Ottawa, Kansas, Connie Alexander and husband, Dave, of Osawatomie, Kansas, Anita Fiatte of McPherson, Kansas, and Cathi Plemmons of Iberia, Missouri; one brother, Johnny Berry and wife, Earlene, of McCloud, Kansas; one sister, Alice Martin of Overland Park, Kansas; twenty three grandchildren; fifty one great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Louise Berry; two sons, Richard Lee Fiatte, and Michael James Fiatte; one daughter, Becky Fiatte Johns; and three brothers, Frank, Danny, and Bob.
