Obituary of Diana L. Nichols

Diana L. Nichols, age 75, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Diana was born October 31, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Darwin and Evelyn (Duncan) Nichols. Diana was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She owned and operated The Smorgasbord Restaurant in Osage Beach for 30 years. Diana was a volunteer with the Osage Beach Fire Department and the Make A Wish Foundation. Diana is survived by one son, Donnie Nichols and wife, Shannon, of Columbia, Missouri; two daughters, Debbie Boehm of Camdenton, Missouri and Karen Barker and husband, Roger, of Osage Beach, Missouri; four grandchildren, Ryan Barker, Lauren Barker, Brennan Nichols and Michael Boehm. She was preceded in death by her parents Darwin and Evelyn Nichols; one sister, Patty Jones; and one great-grandson, Silas Boehm.
