Obituary of JoAnn Jeffords

JoAnn Jeffords, age 82, of Lake Ozark, Missouri departed this life Monday January 28, 2015 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. JoAnn was born April 11, 1932 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri a daughter of Lester and Fannie (Deem) Massingham. She was united in marriage to Jacque (Jack) Jeffords on August 6, 1955 in Piggott, Arkansas. Joann was a member of St. George Episcopal Church in Camdenton, Missouri where she sang in the choir, She was also involved with the Lake Area Choral, was a volunteer at Lake Regional Health System and at the Eldon Golf Club on Wednesdays, JoAnn was a member of the D.A.R. and the Lincoln University Travel Group in Jefferson City, Missouri. She loved reading and was an avid Bridge player. She also enjoyed traveling with Jack and being a wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Jack of the home, one daughter; Judith Homitz and husband Joe, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, one daughter-in-law; Pam Jeffords, of Denver, Colorado, one granddaughter, Jessica Homitz, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, one brother, Wallace Massingham and three nephews, Terry Massingham, Danny Massingham and Mark Massingham. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and one son John Jeffords.
