Obituary of Jerome E. Nottebrok

Jerome (Jerry) E. Nottebrok, age 79, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015, surrounded by his family. Jerry was born February 5, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was united in marriage October 5, 1957 to Shirley Gennari and together they shared 57 years of marriage. Jerry retired from Southwestern Bell Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked as an executive. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Osage Beach, the Commissioner of Planning and Zoning in the Village of Four Seasons and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He enjoyed boating and playing golf, but most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley; one son, David Nottebrok (Karen), of San Antonio, Texas; four daughters, Mary Nottebrok, Sharon Rippe (Jeff), Anne Abbenhaus (Philip), Sandra Bier (Ben), all of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Fleher of St. Louis, Missouri, and Ellen Cunnington (Walt) of Champaign, Illinois; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; along with several relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Nell Nottebrok; and one son, Jerome Nottebrok, Jr.
