Obituary of Robert John Klasener
Robert John Klasener, age 68, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015, at his home in Camdenton.
Robert was born December 2, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Bruno and Laura Foster Klasener.
Robert served his country in the United States Air Force, a duty in which he was extremely proud of. He was recently blessed to be able to visit the Normandy Battlefield in Normandy, France.
Robert was united in marriage April 14, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri to the love of his life, Karen Storck, and together they shared 42 years of marriage until his death.
Robert had a passionate love for his wife, his family and his beautiful grandchildren. But above all, his love for the Lord and serving as an Elder at Peace Lutheran Church was evident.
Robert worked for Union Pacific Railroad in the IT department. He enjoyed traveling, watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, wood carving, fishing and playing cards.
Robert is survived by his wife Karen; one daughter, Lynn Straw and husband, Jonathan, of Alexandria, Virginia; one son, Thomas Klasener and wife, Shauna, of O�Fallon, Missouri; grandchildren, Parker, Hudson, and Gabrielle; his brothers, Bruno Klasener of Phoenix, Arizona, and James Klasener of Warrenton, Missouri; his sister, Marian Fritz of Sun City, Arizona; along with several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bruno and Laura Klasener.
