Obituary of Cleo V. Faigle
Cleo Virginia Faigle, age 95, of St. Louis, Missouri, departed this life Friday, February 27, 2015 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Cleo was born October 9, 1919 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of John and Ivy (Carlton) Crew.
She was united in marriage April 29, 1937 in St. Louis, to Cardwell Joseph Faigle who preceded her in death.
Cleo is survived by sons, Jack Faigle and wife, Gayle, of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Jerry Faigle and wife, Janette, of Four Seasons, Missouri; daughter, Connie Matecki and husband, Edward, of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter-in-law Linda Faigle of Lake Ozark, Missouri; and sister, Patricia Greco and husband, Domenic, of St. Louis Hills, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ivy Crew; her husband Cardwell Joseph Faigle; one son, Harry Faigle; one daughter, Carol Faigle; one brother, John Crew; and three sisters, Peggy Pryor, Lela Day, and Eloise Flecke; and four grandchildren.
Cleo was a loving wife and helpmate to her husband and caring and devoted mother to her children. She enjoyed her role as homemaker, and created many beautiful memories for her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and playing bingo and card games. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
