Obituary of Peggy S. Putnam

Peggy S. Putnam, age 68, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Peggy was born October 7, 1946 in Belleview, Missouri, the daughter of Loyd and Helen (Racer) Jaycox. She was united in marriage August 8, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ernest H. Putnam, who preceded her in death December 20, 2005. Peggy was a devoted wife and helpmate to her husband Ernest during their marriage, and a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, yachting, and going to garage sales. She also loved animals of all kinds. Peggy loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending her time with them. She will be greatly missed by them. Peggy is survived by one son, Edwin Putnam and wife, Leigh, of Brumley, Missouri; two daughters, Cynthia Flowers of Osage Beach, Missouri and Jacquelin Proctor and husband, Kevin, of Pacific, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Jaycox of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Jerry Jaycox of Fenton, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Garrett of Brumley, Missouri, and Debbie Cooper of Butler, Missouri; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Loyd and Helen Jaycox, her husband Ernest H. Putnam; three brothers, Loyd, Clyde, and Darrell; and three sisters, Mary Wucher, Sally Weils, and Shirley Neighbors.
