Obituary of Ruth L. Fishburn

Ruth L. Fishburn , age 91, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life Friday, April 3, 2015 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. Ruth was born May 3, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Robert L. and Etta J. (Dietzschold) Romo. She was united in marriage October 2, 1943 to Edward Fishburn and together they enjoyed 71 years of marriage together until her death. Ruth was active at the Golden Age Senior Center in Osage Beach where she taught art classes. She volunteered in the Camdenton School District and School of the Osage School District in the �Reading with Children� program. Ruth enjoyed art and was an award winning artist. More than anything Ruth loved her family dearly and showed that love by making a quilt for every grandchild. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family. Ruth is survived by her husband Edward; daughter, Diane Tucker and husband, Robert, of Kansas City, Missouri; sons, James Fishburn and wife, Cindy, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri and Jeff Fishburn and wife, Angela, of Eldon, Missouri; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Etta Romo.
