Obituary of James W. Fiatte

James W. Fiatte, age 88, of Crocker, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Lakeside Meadows Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. James was born December 22, 1926 in Maryville, Missouri the son of Murrell George and Hattie Louise (Mayes) Fiatte. James served his country proudly in both the United States Army and the United States Marines. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Berry on November 26, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. They shared 67 years of marriage together. James worked for Local 518 Cement Masons and Plasters in Overland Park, Kansas. He enjoyed working on cars, squirrel hunting, rabbit hunting and loved to trade stuff. James is survived by three sons, Frank Dwayne Fiatte and wife, Denise, of Crocker, Missouri, William Bruce Fiatte and wife, Donna, of Gardner, Kansas, and Robert Murrl Fiatte of Crocker, Missouri; four daughters, Vicki Chance and husband, Charlie, of Wellsville, Kansas, Connie Alexander and husband, Dave, of Osawatomie, Kansas, Anita Fiatte of McPherson, Kansas, and Cathy Perez of Iberia, Missouri; one sister, Betty Anthony of Bellflower, California; twenty three grandchildren; fifty one great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Dorothy, he was preceded in death by his parents Murrell and Hattie Fiatte; two sons, Richard Lee Fiatte, and Michael James Fiatte; one daughter, Becky Louise Fiatte Johns; three brothers, Richard, Robert and Lester and one sister Evelyn Fite.
