Obituary of Cleo A. Jeffries

Cleo A. Jeffries, age 100, of Jefferson City, Missouri formerly of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away April 22, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Jefferson City, Missouri. Cleo was born in Brumley, Missouri on April 11, 1915, the daughter of Evertt C. & Luna Jane Phillips Brown. She was united in marriage, October 10, 1933 to William Edmond Jeffries, who preceded her in death March 31, 1971. Cleo worked for many years at Kirkwood Lodge in Osage Beach, Missouri and later at the Lake Ozark Movie Theater. Cleo is survived by two daughters; Barbara Jean Hilton and husband, Gene, of Collins, Missouri, and Elizabeth (Libby) Webb husband, Ralph (Cobb) Webb, of Jefferson City, Missouri; ten grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, Evertt and Luna Brown; her husband, William Jeffries; one daughter, Wilma Faye Bridges; five brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.
