Obituary of Linda Darlene Arpke

Linda Darlene Arpke, age 73, of Kaiser, Missouri, departed this life Friday, May 15, 2015 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. Darlene was born February 5, 1942 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Olive Bernice (Conlee) Fricke. She was united in marriage August 12, 1983 to Arthur (Art) Arpke Jr. and together they shared 31 years of marriage. Darlene is survived by her husband Art of the home; one sister, Marlyn Bray, sister-in-law, Cynthia Dale, brother-in-law, Stanley Arpke and wife Kathy, her nieces, Marlene Moshage and husband, Ralph, Donna Seelbach, Amy Wiedmeyer and husband Josh, Kimberly Keaveny and husband Val; her nephews, Darren Bray and wife, Corina, Joseph Arpke, Robert Dale and Peter Dale and wife Patricia; several great nieces and nephews; along with many other relative and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bernice Fricke; and one sister, Cheryl Marie Fricke and one great nephew Ryan Bray. Darlene graduated from Gerald High School in Gerald, Illinois. She was employed with the Springfield Clinic and the Credit Bureau in Springfield, Illinois before moving to Lake of the Ozarks with her husband Art. She was one of the first to be employed at the Osage Beach Wal-Mart over 30 years ago as an operator and sales associate. Darlene was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach. In addition to visitation listed, the family receive friends froom 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services Tuesday, at the church.
