Obituary of Janet M. Writz

Janet M. (Jan) Writz, age 79, of Climax Springs, Missouri, departed this life Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Laurie Care Center in Laurie, Missouri. Jan was born May 5, 1936 in Elmwood Park, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Alta (Forbean) Stasinowsky. She was united in marriage October 27, 1988 to Raymond (Ray) Writz in Las Vegas, Nevada and together they shared 27 years of marriage. Jan is survived by her husband Ray of the home; three daughters, Janice Littlejohn and husband David, of Thaxton, Mississippi, Jennifer Wolf and husband Raymond, of Jackson, Wisconsin, and Jill Maher and husband Paul, of Shorewood, Illinois; one brother, Karl W. (Bill) Stasinowsky and wife Sharon, of Tolorio, Illinois; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Alta Stasinowsky. Jan was a member of the National Association of Women In Construction. She loved playing cards, making greeting cards, reading books and cooking for her family. She was a loving wife of 27 years, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel to be with her family and shower them with goodies from her kitchen. She will be greatly missed by her family members and many friends who loved her dearly.
