Obituary of Florence Marie Watts

Florence Marie Watts, age 86, was born June 29, 1929, in Shawnee Oklahoma. She passed away June 16, 2015, at her home, after a lengthy illness. Marie, as she liked to be called, resided in Camdenton, Missouri with her husband LeRoy Watts, who were married for 58yrs. Marie is survived by her husband; Leroy of the home, children; daughter Annette Gilbert & spouse Jerry, son Eddie McAninch and spouse Marcella, son Danny Watts and son Mark Watts and spouse Karen. Also by her brother Eddie Laws of Kansas City, MO and sister Frances Ballew of Culver City, CA; grandchildren Nathan Gilbert of Buffalo, WYO, Kevin Gilbert of Palm Coast, FL, Aaron Gilbert of Roach, MO, Edward McAninch Jr of Summerville SC, Elliott McAninch of Summerville, SC, Shon Watts of Battlefield, MO, Tanner Watts of FL, Kara Watts of Springfield, MO, Amanda Watts of Sunrise Beach, MO, Shona Murdoch of Camdenton, MO., Shane Watts of Camdenton, MO , Theresa Rhodes of Washington State and 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her Mother Edith Arneson, her Father Richard Blankenship and a son Michael Watts. Marie grew up in Raytown, MO, but spent a great deal of her life in the State of California where she met her husband Lee while working at the Disneyland Hotel. She and Lee moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 1972, and were owners and proprietors of Three Seasons Resort for several years. Marie was a very loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always made her loved ones know exactly how loved and special they were. You could never leave her presence without a hug and kiss and told how much you were loved by her. Marie�s main goal in life was always her family and doing special things for them. She had an infectious smile and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
