Obituary of Lawrence L. Lembach

Lawrence "Larry" Leroy Lembach, 64, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, died Sunday June 21, 2015, at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland. He was born September 1, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of Charles E. and Lillian R. (Rodgers) Lembach. Larry was a very intelligent, dependable and reliable employee of Proctor and Gamble who sincerely cared about the success of operations he was a part of. He worked his way up to a Tower Operator for making synthetic granules Control Room, Liquid Cascade Control Room, and Glycerin Control Room, positions that held single point responsibilities for the operation of more then 90 million dollars worth of equipment. Larry spent six months in Cincinnati helping develop the Liquid Cascade formula. At the age of 46, after working more than 27 years for P&G, Larry retired and soon after moved to Lake Ozark, Missouri. In January of 2000, he along with Parker and Mary Darr, became a founding father of the Lake of the Ozarks Corvette Club. On January 10, 2000 there were two Corvettes. Today, the club has grown to its present membership of 195 people. Larry always considered the Corvette Club one of his proudest memories. Along with his Corvette, Larry's hobbies included fishing, boating, building large remote controlled airplanes, remodeling , carpentry and traveling. Larry is survived by his wife Terry Lembach of Lake Ozark, Missouri; two sons, Larry and his wife Marysol of Jacksonville, Florida, and Scott of San Diego, California; two step daughters, Angela and her husband Christophe Torres, and Ashley Howerton both of Lake Ozark, Missouri; two grandchildren, Annika and Zoe Torres; his mother Lillian Roberta Lembach of Baltimore, Maryland; three brothers, Charles, Michael and John of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters, Susan DeSombre and Joan Mellendick, both of Baltimore, Maryland; god child, Sara Beth Washenko, of New Freedom, Pennsylvania; two lifelong friends, Mark Washenko of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, and Don Mullen of Glen Burne, Maryland; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved pet companion Flight. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Lembach and his first wife Luann Dorothy Lembach. He meant so much to so many lives he touched. We will always love him and will keep him in our hearts.
