Obituary of George M. DeClue

George Michael "Mike" DeClue, age 55, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Mike was born January 24, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of George and Judith (Sieber) DeClue. Mike was self employed as a painter in and around the area. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was vice-president of the Bush Pilots Motorcycle Club in Iberia. Mike was a fun-loving guy and those who knew him well called him "Pops" or "Big Mike". He enjoyed his family and was a beaming grandfather to his grandson Lucas, his "pride and joy". Mike is survived by three sons, Denny DeClue, Stephen Michael Hasty and wife Halle, and Michael "Kujo" Karjala, all of Rocky Mount, Missouri; two daughters, Tasha DeClue of Hawk Point, Missouri, and Stephanie Hasty of Rocky Mount, Missouri; three brothers, Thomas Patrick DeClue and wife, Barb, of Troy, Missouri, Terry DeClue of Iberia, Missouri, and William DeClue and wife, Lisa, of St. Peters, Missouri; two sisters, Micha Rainwater and husband, Ken, of Troy, Missouri, and Judith Marie Green and husband, Bobby, of Elsberry, Missouri; one grandson, Lucas Matthew Bright; and his soul-mate Mary Kay Hasty of Rocky Mount, Missouri; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Judith DeClue; one sister, Robin Lynn Mitchell, and one son, Eric DeClue.
