Obituary of Daniel P. Beffa

Daniel Philip (Dan) Beffa Sr., age 80, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Dan was born December 28, 1934 St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Daniel W. and Berenice (Foster) Beffa. Dan is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Dan Jr. (Terri); grandson, Philip (Michelle) and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Christine; two brothers, Paul (Robin) of Pittsburg, Missouri and Jim of Bradenton, Florida, and niece and God�child, Rebecca Beffa Dunn of Troy, Missouri, as well as many loving sisters and brother-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Bea Beffa; brother Larry Beffa; and nephew Craig Beffa. Dan was a long-time electrical contractor relocating his business from St. Louis area to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1978. He was a member of Harper Chapel United Methodist Church; a life-time member of the National Rifle Association of America and a life-time member of the VFW Post 5923 in Camdenton, Missouri. He was also a member of Wildey Lodge No. 2 Independent Order of Odd Fellows, St. Louis, Missouri a member of Algabil-Freedom Masonic Lodge NO 636, St. Louis, Missouri, a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Valley of Joplin, Missouri; and a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple in Springfield, Missouri. In 1983 it was his honor to serve as Rajah of the Lake of the Ozarks Shrine Club.
