Obituary of Robert Lee Lindsey

Robert Lee "Bobby" Lindsey, age 60, of Barnett, Missouri, departed this life Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Mary's Home, Missouri. Bobby was born June 12, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Lee Robert and Vernie I. (Atteberry) Lindsey. Bobby served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. Bobby was employed in construction, and as a mechanic and other trades during his life. He had many loves in his life, but first and foremost was his Heavenly Father and Savior, whom he spoke of often since his mother began teaching him as a child. He also loved old trucks and cars but nothing else came close to the love he held for his horses, Nellie, Rosie, & Joshua who were like his own children. Bobby enjoyed canoeing on the Piney River and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. Bobby is survived by his brother, John Lee Lindsey of Stover, Missouri; his sisters, Mary Ann Lindsey of Rocky Mount, Missouri, Carol Ann Galbraith of Stover, Missouri, and Judith Ann Walters of Stover, Missouri. He is also survived by his beloved nephew Jerry Alberson and niece Bonnie Janowiak and his Goddaughter and niece Anna Diebold along with many other relatives and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Lee Robert and Vernie Lindsey; his brother William Lee Lindsey; his sister Jo Anne Lindsey and sister Ruth Ann Hull.
